About Sahaj:
Sahaj has been working in Rajasthan from last 22 years, focusing on ending poverty and social injustice through well-planned and sustainable programmes in health, education, livelihoods and climate change. Our overall goal is the empowerment of less heard people from poor and marginalized communities leading to improvement in their lives with dignity and livelihoods.
Sahaj facilitate the empowerment of people from poor and marginalised communities in the fight to overcome poverty, exclusion and social injustice. We nurture leadership internally and among community based organisation to achieve this mission. Sahaj has been registered under Rajasthan Society registration Act 1958, FCRA and section 80G: Income Tax Deduction for donations.

Management Team:

Baburm Bishnoi, Chairmen 
Baburam Bishnoi is founder and chairmen of Sahaj. He is a social worker and working in development sector from last 25 years.  Baburam’s path has been paved with social work and the desire to empower others. Growing up with farmers' family in desert Rajasthan, he experiences and understand the problems and needs of rural Rajasthan and he  established Sahaj in 1999 to work for the people.
He implemented many holistic community development projects in hundreds villages of western Rajasthan. He always passionate to work  for rural parts of western Rajasthan.

Paras Nath Sidh, Director

Paras is a humanitarian professional with over 13 years of work experience in the field of social work. His vast experience involves project management and planning of projects both at the state and community level with a focus on system strengthening and quality improvement. He has led different development programs in The Antara Foundation, Pathfinder International, HLFPPT, Sphere in different states. He has a Masters in Social work and MBA in Healthcare management. Paras is passionate about community service and has often volunteered in disaster hit areas. When not working, he loves to spend time with his family.
