Sahaj Sansthan is a registered non profit working to uplift the lives of families in marginalized regions through sustainable programs. Goals we aspire towards 






Strategies

Build Capacity primarily of women, children and adolescents to be aware and confident to access the right resources to led a better life

Enable community based organizations (such as Self Help Groups, Children, Anganwadi, School Management Committees, Panchayats, etc) to be accountable and instrumental to identify local solutions that bring sustainable change

Directly Support through voluntary contribution at the community level or from the various donors in order to protect the interests of groups with special needs; disabled, single women led,  affected by natural calamity like drought or disease, so forth.

Innovate to tackle emerging issues with technology, advocacy and evidence based action

Partner and participate to build strategic alliances that led to expansion of activities and convergence of efforts globally

Management Team

Baburm Bishnoi, Chairman 

Baburam Bishnoi is the founder and chairman of Sahaj. He has been  a social worker in the development sector for over 25 years. Baburam’s path in the sector has been driven by the desire to give back to society. Growing up in a farmers family in the desert regions of Rajasthan, he has first hand experience of the problems and needs of rural Rajasthan.  He  established Sahaj in 1999 to work in the region.
He has implemented numerous community development projects in  western Rajasthan, reaching out to hundreds of families. A social being he is very passionate about the people he works for and with.  




Paras Nath Sidh, Director

Paras is a humanitarian professional with over 13 years of work experience in the field of social work. His vast experience involves project management and planning of projects both at the state and community level with a focus on system strengthening and quality improvement. He has led different development programs in The Antara Foundation, Pathfinder International, HLFPPT, Sphere in different states. He has a Masters in Social work and MBA in Healthcare management. Paras is passionate about community service and has often volunteered in disaster hit areas. When not working, he loves to spend time with his family.
